Storie, born in Georgia but with deep family roots in Texas, began riding at age 8. From that one magic birthday present, a life-long passion was born. Starting out as a student of the English discipline, and then venturing into Barrel Racing and roping, Storie had multiple trainers but all had one thing in common – the greatest respect and honor of the horse and the responsibility of the rider to work with the horse, not command the horse.
