Horseback riding at Sandy Bottom Trail rides is relaxing and safe! We have horses in our stable to match every guest's size and riding ability. All rides are accompanied by friendly, experienced trail guides.

Fun ride with gorgeous scenery.
Initially I was very nervous (1st time rider) but our encouraging and experienced guide, Zoe, and my horse, Pebbles, knew exactly what they were doing and I learned a lot.
The crew took great care of us and gave a fantastic guide.
Owner was friendly, tour guide helped us feel comfortable and safe.
Even strangers at the mine helped us find some treasure to take home!
We had a beautiful 2 hour ride thru the mountains and he made sure we were taken care of and our horses 🐴 were watered and in a line.
My husband and I were going to go to the Biltmore to ride because it was closer but arrived and they require reservations weeks and months in advance and it’s hard to get them on the phone so we decided we would make the drive out to Sandy Bottom last minute and it was well worth it and now we have no interest in trying the Biltmore trail.
Three of us were visiting Asheville and decided to go horseback riding.
Beautiful trail, amazing view and wonderful people!
