Paul Lyman Music Lessons

I had no idea what to expect going in as someone who’s never sung a day in my life to anyone other than my shower walls.

He understands that ear training is paramount to becoming a good vocalist and dedicates time in lessons to the development of a better ear, which is giving me the ability to learn songs without going to the internet for chords.

I have been working with Paul for over two years now on guitar, song writing, and music theory and am so grateful to have stumbled upon his profile when I did.

In the short time I’ve been with Paul, I’ve learned to play guitar, and sing well enough to play out on stage.

He invests so much in each student--seeking to create lessons that uniquely engage your interests and goals.

During my first meeting, I noticed Paul had a deep understanding of music and could communicate it to me as a novice.

Not only did Paul help me with my playing skills he also helped with my writing skills and confidence.

I started taking lessons from Paul, and after a consultation, we initially focused on vocal performance, then progressed on to advanced guitar and music theory.

Since Paul is well versed in many different instruments and music industry topics, I feel like he is my one-stop-shop for all things musical learning.

He is serious but still maintains a fun mood and makes his students feel comfortable.
