We are absolutely thrilled to share that PHSSA has been named a 2022 U.S. Department of Education Green Ribbon School! The work to achieve this designation began over 15 years ago when a committed group of community members dreamed of a school with a focus on environmental education. We are very appreciative of every member of our community who has contributed time, energy, materials and funds to PHSSA over the years to help us grow and thrive.

PHSSA is a PUBLIC charter school offering a diverse student body & faculty, easy access to the 100 acre Forest Hill Park as a multidisciplinary classroom and a menu of family activities that help to promote engagement and a sense of community.
They give you a family feeling ALL the warmth and love is unreal.
I love the teachers, the volunteers, the ties to nature and Forest Hill Park, the implementation of art into lessons, the holistic teaching and the awesome parents and neighborhood!
