Paradise Valley School Of Karate

We feel that there is a certain degree of maturity that needs to be attained to have a Black Belt. We also feel that your first black belt is the most memorable experience. If it is given too young, it's truly not appreciated enough. We generally promote to black belt starting at 14 or 15. For our young kids, they will be able to earn belts on a regular basis to be able to work on their short and long term goals. For adults, they can expect it to take about 4 years of training.

Sentiment Analysis
It was a struggle to find somewhere that I felt comfortable with, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place
We've tried four other martial arts schools in the valley, including karate and jujitsu, and this place truly stands out.
It’s really impressive, particularly after having previously taken my kid somewhere that didn’t have as experienced of instructors.
My son has been attending for a year and he's grown in so many ways (Confidence, strength and balance).
You simply can’t do better for kids karate, adult karate, and Filipino martial arts, Mike and Heather are world class practitioners and gifted instructors.
Have been bringing my daughters and training here as well for nearly 3 years.
Teaching martial arts, discipline, and respect with the right balance of patience, fun, and rigor.
Highly recommend this dojo and their instructors, Sensei Mike and his entire team!!!!
There are many other instructors who are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable but also incredibly passionate about sharing their expertise with their students.
But I've been very pleasantly surprised to find that Karate has so many benefits for both my physical and mental health, even at my age.
