Sensei Alex encourages his Olympic Karate and Sports Center Houston students to travel outside of Meyerland in southwest Houston to tournaments held around the Bayou City and Texas. Don't worry, these Houston karate competitions are not like the All Valleytournament in Netflix's hit Cobra Kai! Students get a chance to demonstrate their kata or sparring outside of the dojo and even win medals!

Sentiment Analysis
Sensei Alex is an amazing instructor in both traditional karate and sports karate!
Sensei Alex has taught me physical and mental aspects of the sport which I'm still learning, I have developed in self discipline and strength....
Absolutely fantastic at evenly pacing and pushing my son.
I go here Mr Alex
I was also looking for a place to train that had other students at my skill level and age, I am 30 at the time of this post and he has several students training for what I am training for.
By far the best dojo here in Texas, Sensei Alex has pushed me beyond my limits to become the best Karate fighter I have ever been, inside the dojo and out.
