Northwest Encaustic
Northwest Encaustic opened in 2008 and is dedicated to exploring the encaustic medium in a fun, creative and safe environment. The studio is in West Seattle and is set up primarily for encaustic painting. It has large work surfaces, good lighting and ventilation as well as a staff of experienced instructors. The intent of this studio for both new and experienced encaustic artists is to create an environment that encourages experimentation and further expansion of artwork. We offer group classes for adults, private instruction for individuals. Custom classes designed for small private groups or private parties. In addition to classes/workshops the studio is also available to rent by the day, week or month. Renters will have access from 10am till 6pm whenever there isn't a class...
