Moxie Theatre
(21 Reviews)
MOXIE Theatre acknowledges that we are on the original stolen land of the Kumeyaay people, referred to as Diegueños by the Spanish colonizers, a territory later occupied by Mexico. We acknowledge the Kumeyaay Nation spans the two countries that now form our border cities and acknowledge the Kumeyaay as the past, present and future caretakers of this land.

Sentiment Analysis
Was there once for a play called "SAPIENS" (Which was a sensory-friendly performance ) - after that play was finished I was on a panel about the play with my former acting mentor Samantha Ginn from the San Diego Options f Ilmmaking prorgam.
A little sad the theatre seats were too small and uncomfortable for my plus sized self, I couldn't sit properly and was on the edge of the seat and l had to wait until the intermission to ask for a regular chair to sit in..
This is a women owned, board of directors are women, the shows and plays at the Moxie Theatre are about women and written by women.
Each and every one of the members of Moxie is committed to doing great shows, excellent performances.
They try …
All i have seen has been great!
Just saw "Mother of the Maid," it is the third play me and my friends have seen at Moxie and all have been fantastic.
They definitely serve the community, walk their talk, and if you need (during non-pandemic times) are open to rentals when the stage isn't being used for their own productions.
Great little theater.
Wonderful work, incredible performances
