My six year old has been taking lessons from Hae Sook at Maestro Musicians for about 6 months now. Her piano playing . .. has significantly improved. She had a year of lessons prior to starting at Maestro. Hae Sook has helped her pay much more attention to the duration of each note, whether quarter or half notes. My daughter has also also started to read music, rather than just memorize it or follow patterns. She is also understanding the difference between playing staccato notes and longer notes. Moreover, she is beginning to play more significant chords. Hae Sook is teaching her discipline without being inflexible and my daughter loves studying with her.
