My six year old has been taking lessons from Hae Sook at Maestro Musicians for about 6 months now. Her piano playing . .. has significantly improved. She had a year of lessons prior to starting at Maestro. Hae Sook has helped her pay much more attention to the duration of each note, whether quarter or half notes. My daughter has also also started to read music, rather than just memorize it or follow patterns. She is also understanding the difference between playing staccato notes and longer notes. Moreover, she is beginning to play more significant chords. Hae Sook is teaching her discipline without being inflexible and my daughter loves studying with her. My Daughter learned a lot from her music teacher Kelly, who is very patient and made lessons fun.
Our cello teacher Hannah is very patient and professional, she always explains the music and makes sure we understand first when we learn a new piece.
Their instructor allows fun and creativity while also making progress each lesson.
Communications with her and the staff are top notch, the in-person lessons (following COVID guidelines) are very close by, and they are very flexible regarding lessons in these trying times.
My daughter is in 7th grade and has been taking piano lessons with Maestro Musicians Academy for the last 6 months.
