Annette has been such a wonderful gift to my girls and our family. We started piano about a year and a half ago and my kids love it! The girls are always eager to attend piano and love practicing the activities/warmups that she gives them. As a parent I enjoy watching and listening to her gentle manner with the children. When searching for a teacher I knew I wanted music theory along with teaching how to read music. Annette does an impeccable job with both of these elements while making it fun for the kids. Three years later, we could not be more satisfied - she is progressing fast and steadily, and truly enjoying playing, even asking for extra pieces to learn, in which Annette is more than happy to help her.
And although I don't know how she is at teaching children and young people, her demeanor with me gives me the impression that she is probably terrific with the little ones, as she is non-threatening and extremely patient and kind.
Annette has been teaching my young daughter for almost a year now, and as a former piano student myself (10 years of lessons), I am hugely impressed with her method, technique and warm personality.
My daughter loves to play because she's built the necessary confidence during her lessons with Annette.
Annette takes great care in this pandemic and offers students their choice of online lessons or in-person, masked lessons.
