When Jonathan was 7 we started him at KA. At 9 he received his 1st-degree black belt and his 2nd degree at 11. He has always practiced at home, but now he is building up a sweat doing it! Now he competes in intra-school and regional tournaments and does well. His forms are crisp and powerful and he is doing better in sparring. According to his sister, someone tried to hit him in school and he just did a gentle defensive move, did not fight, but had the confidence knowing he can take care of himself. Our daughter has been coming to Taekwondo classes since mid-2021, and has moved through the Tiny Tigers program for the youngest leaders, graduated into the Juniors program, and has now reached high ranks in the Juniors program on her way to Black Belt.
Our family consists of a Tiny Tiger, a Junior and an Adult student ~ and everyone leaves their lessons feeling excited about what they are learning.
Ashley are professional yet extremely personable and they make it feel like we’re all an important part of their KA family.
