Yes, at times, she has had to be firm with us and, I’m sure with her other students, but that is only because she knows the dangers involved when dealing with horses.
I have better communication with my horse, a better seat in the saddle and Sheryl has taught me to "speak horse" - - something she seems to do naturally.
I am always in awe as I watch one person after another go from a beginning rider to a very competent advanced rider as a result of the lessons they have taken from Sheryl.
She manages the ranch which houses 24-26 horses, at full capacity, whose stalls are cleaned daily, fed twice daily and waters checked/ cleaned/ filled twice daily.
I have boarded both my current, and my previous horse here for over 6 years now, and I couldn't be happier with the quality of care given to both my horses and myself.
There are good facilities for boarders to use such as 2 arenas (one mainly turn out), 2 round pens, wash racks, hitching rails, tack rooms (each boarder gets a locker) and trails that lead right out into the Catalina State Park.
