Pretty new here, both the coaches and the trainees were super welcoming and nice.
By starting with rote drills, then drills where you don’t know what punch is coming, and finally to sparring w/speed but decreased power,, you learn to fight for real—not just apply multiple techniques against non-compliant opponents as in some other martial arts.
