He teaches you via songs you want to learn to play and picks out concepts from those songs that are appropriate for your skill level, which has been great in keeping up my motivation.

Drew is not only super knowledgeable about guitar technique and music theory, but also easy going, patient and encouraging.

Unlike many other guitar instructors that can be found online, Drew's curriculum does not include teaching, quick ephemeral lessons which don't allow for progression.

He teaches you the foundations of music theory through the guitar in a way that enables you to understand and explore the instrument to your full potential.

He has plenty of exercises for you to build those foundations you need, while also having fun learning to play the songs you love, and he is very kind, humble and patient.

If you are serious about learning the guitar and are looking for a professional and knowledgable teacher, I would definitely recommend Drew!

I was a complete beginner and 6 months into it I'm amazed that I can do things which I thought impossible for a beginner, such as reading tab, comfortably playing barre chords, playing scales, improvising over backing tracks, learning complete songs, and much more.
