Joined Ground Game Theory (GGT) the day after my 37 birthday as part of a pseudo midlife crisis, post 6 months of pure studying and inactivity due to a work opportunity. The purpose of stating the aforementioned is to dispel the idea that you must be in shape to pursue the sport of Jiu Jitsu. The instructors/coaches of Ground Game Theory are uniquely gifted in taking varying ages and physical abilities to understand techniques or concepts adapted to each individual. Each persons purpose for being there, be it exercise, competition, etc, will be respected and encouraged. This important detail keeps a camaraderie amongst all the students. Undoubtedly, if not the best, one of the best BJJ schools in Miami, I started training here from 0 and after 3 months my fundamentals of the sport are much better with very serious and professional training that is also personalized for each level.
Each visit allowed me to learn new techniques, and I even managed to bring my friend for his first time.
The instructors are highly skilled, passionate, and genuinely care about their students' progression.
