Groovitude Dance

Workout wear is fine. It's fun to dress funky for hip hop though! Dance shoes are helpful but not required. Please do not wear outside shoes on our dance floor. For lyrical/contemporary class: bare feet, socks, or jazz/ballet shoes are great. For tap class: tap shoes. For hip hop class: shoes worn only inside, sneakers, or jazz sneakers.

Sentiment Analysis
Mandy is the best trainer you can have!
It’s a welcoming environment from the moment you walk into the studio; you feel that your effort & attitude is appreciated right away.
The music is fabulous, the choreographies are fun and give us an excellent workout, the community of dancers is comprised of the nicest people!
If Shelter-In-Place made you wish for an inspiring place to go, and you are fortunate enough to live nearby, come to these fun, creative classes where the teachers and students create a "whole" experience that is greater than a sum of each one of us.
Mandy and Lisa have created a warm, inviting, funky, and love-filled space (both in-person and virtual) in which all can feel challenged, honoured, and dance-fulfilled!
It's a super healthy, accepting environment where dancers of all abilities can participate and grow.
Dancing with Lisa and Mandy at Groovitude is pure joy, freedom of expression, laughter, and friendship.
Class includes a high energy set warmup and a good chunk of time for choreography which is taught in an easy-to-learn way.
Even throughout this whole Covid crisis, Lisa & Mandy have been teaching online via zoom, outdoors, indoor classes w/ masks & 6 ft apart - they truly love what they do, and I truly love them back!
If dance is your thing, OR even if you think it's out of your comfort zone, doesn't matter, all skill levels and backgrounds are welcome and appreciated.
