Like so many of my colleagues, I neededto switch all my students immediately to remoteonline lessons because ofCovid-19 concerns, so they could continue to learn to play music at the piano. This meant using videoconferencetechnology to communicate with the student live, in real time with them at their piano and me at mine, instead of being with themphysicallyin the same room.

Professor Heuser is an exceptional teacher in that he teaches into my learning style and is professional in every aspect.
My daughter started with James before COVID hit, and while we miss the in-person lessons, James has made the switch to video lessons easy, no small feat.
Heuser is very professional and committed to his students’ progress, interests, their needs and strengths during their piano lessons.
The COVID mess has made teaching much more difficult, but James has put together a Zoom based instruction process that, while not a good as personal interaction, works very well.
