What I have liked is that the instructor works with all of us as a group and individually. The group of folks is great fun and very funny, they encourage and compliment each other. Very supportive of each other. I also like that the coach is 100% supportive of my efforts and adjusts the workouts to accommodate how MY body works. Desert Fitness Collective was perfect for me and just what I was looking for! It was worth it. Challenge yourself!

I had been dealing with an extremely stressful family Trust situation that was affecting my sleep and I knew that exercise would be a great way to relieve stress and help me sleep better.
When I read about Cheryl’s Desert Fitness Collective and her classes that focus on people over 55, I knew this was going to be the thing to get me back to regular workouts.
I was nervous at first but Cheryl has been so supportive and willing to work with me to modify some of the exercises when my bad back limited what I could do.
I’m happy I found Cheryl and Desert Fitness as it improved my mental and physical fitness significantly; and … no more knee pain!
After completing 12 weeks, I have noticed more range of motion and strength in my arthritic shoulder and I have lost 6 pounds.
Frankly, it was hard getting started, but Cheryl provided much support and the social setting of working out with others provided much needed peer pressure to show up each time.
In addition to health issues, I was experiencing difficulty climbing stairs, declining strength and those nasty aches and pains.
I saw incredible gains in my training throughout the course which now enables me to feel so much more confident in myself.
Therefore, I encourage those who think that the program is more than they can handle to ask yourself; “Will I be physically independent in the next few years
