The gym is chalked full of wonderful people who truly seek to support you in becoming your best self, and there is nothing that puts life's issues in perspective quite like jiu jitsu does.

Although i’m not the best at bjj the instructors and even fellow peers are extremely helpful on what to do.
All the coaches are great, felt super comfortable starting the for the first time and feel like I’m getting better fast than I would at other gyms!

Dark Horse spends a lot of time on conversations with the kids about respecting themselves, coming to terms with the difficulty of the sport, and having healthy expectations around what to expect from themselves.
