Sentiment Analysis
Seido is a system that not only teaches the physical attributes of karate, but the mental and spiritual aspects as well
Seido Karate philosophy is not about being the strongest or toughest but more focused on self-confidence and self-improvement.
My decision to starting training in Seido karate was informed by my previous training in other traditional-style martial arts: judo, Shotokan karate, Shito-ryu karate, traditional kung fu/wu shu, and aikido.
Although all my colleagues had brown, black belts and even stripes on them (dan), I felt included right away and learned fast.
Not only on the martial art side, but also the discipline that he shows on a daily basis.
I mostly enjoy the pace, the language and history aspect of the lessons.
My 8 yr old son has been attending CC Seido Karate for over 2 years and it's been a great experience.
My 9 year-old has been training here for a little over a year, and this dojo has helped bring her out of her shell and turned her into a confident and strong kid.
Ted teaches great karate techniques and also weaves in tidbits of life lessons into the instructions.
Jun Shihan is an inspiring and model teacher!
