To echo what some of the people have already said, this place makes you feel like family. More importantly, our coach, Junior, knows his stuff and the rest of the brown and purple belts who have learned under him are amazing teachers as well. It's pretty intimidating to walk into a place where everyone knows one another but aside from the initial trepidation of walking into a BJJ school it's been a great journey so far with people who make you feel like family. Coach Junior said it best, to paraphrase him, 'he may own the school but it's the students and people involved with it that make the school and make us all family

I recently moved the Bronx and was looking for a Brazilian jiu jitsu academy that had morning and night class, I checked this place out and instantly became family.
This place is so much fun to learn and just vibe...
Through training, he has learned the values of hard work, winning and losing, being humble, listening, competing and so much more.
I agree with everyone else’s reviews regarding the care of the coaches towards the students, they’re attentive and strive to see you improve.
Other gyms you’re just a payment, here the instructors pull the best out of each individual person because your success is personal to them.
I love the attention that they give to each individual student on the mat, as well as off it.
One if not the best jiu-jitsu here in the Bronx.
I would recommend this place to anyone at any stage in life especially if you are looking to achieve a deeper shelf awareness.
The coaches are fantastic and really care about all the students.
