Steve is an amazing guitar instructor my daughter has learned from beginner and now she is advanced and loves his positive attitude and caring instruction.
He keeps the lessons varied and interesting and always ties them together to emphasise “big picture” concepts and music theory as opposed to just teaching me to memorize songs.
He has the ability to bring out your individuality by giving you techniques that you can’t find on You Tube.
He taught me fundamental concepts which will allow me to further my guitar playing skills on my own for years to come.
Stephen is very patient & willing to answer a lot of random questions from me, even ones that I probably have no need to be asking at my current skill level & He always tries to either work them into that day's lesson, or in one of the next lessons depending on what is best.
For instance, I am not much of a reggae fan, but Stephen introduced me to bar chords using Sublime, a band while not entirely reggae, has a strong reggae influence.
He breaks down complex techniques in a small modeled, which enabled me to learn quickly.
