At Ascend Dance Academy we offer classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Broadway, and Pilates to children ages 2 to 18 years. Our focus is on technique and performance training in all disciplines, and we give our students a chance to showcase their hard work with performances throughout the year. Our Ballet classes are based on the American Ballet Theatre® National Training Curriculum: an age-appropriate system with outcome-based guidelines that help students continually improve their skills. We have three program offerings based on age and development. Our Sprout Program, for our youngest dancers aged 2 to 5, teaches the basics of rhythmic movement and creative play. Great instructors that create a fantastic atmosphere to develop dancers.
They are teaching skills that can be carried over to many other moments in life, like how to be a part of a group, waiting your tun, leaning from each other, trying something new etc.
My daughter danced with Ascend since they opened their doors, but also danced with many of the teachers for years before Ascend was created.
This is our first year dancing with the completion team and they did a great job of making it a smooth transition for my dancer.
