Academy Riding Stable
This was an amazing experience and I am very happy I booked with Academy! I searched many stables in the area and ultimately settled on taking the one hour tour. I was more than impressed. All staff is so very friendly and caring, they walk you through every instruction so you feel comfortable, they take amazing care of the horses, and best of all they don't judge your skill level. First you go through the safety and training, then they match you with a horse (which they do very well! ) The guides on the trail provide a lot of geographical and historical information. Their process for safety of the tour was really easy to follow and they were very attentive to what was going on with all the horses. I forgot the girls name that took us out I wanna say lily that took us out july 4th at 1230 for 2hrs and the horses name was skrat she was extremely nice and very knowledgeable will definitely go back!
The guides broke the tour's guests into smaller groups of 4 or 5 (keeping family groups together), so we got personalized attention and help.

I huge thank you for supplying me with bandemine when my horse was in colic near by your stables.
My teenage boys and I had a wonderful time horseback riding through the Garden of the Gods.
I stopped in Manitou Springs following this ride and between both of these locations it was the best day I’ve had in a really long time.
He shared a lot of great history about Garden of the Gods and made sure we had a fun ride.
And our guide, Lily, was amazing at showing us the way and keeping things lively by telling us about the history of the Garden of the Gods.
The only thing we had issues with during both of our rides is that if you are the behind the second person in line following the guide, you aren't going to hear much of the information being given unless you have a very loud guide.
Had an amazing 1 hour ride with a large group ranging in ages 13-77 and experience level from regular lessons to never sat on a horse.
