“Not only did the talented improv performers have us crying with laughter, but their ingenious incorporation of our line of work into the comedy was nothing short of brilliant.”
FAQs
Do we need to buy tickets in advance?
We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance here on the website. It is an excellent idea as shows often sell out. Show up a half hour before showtime to ensure you can sit with your friends because seating is first come, first serve. Tickets are available online in advance until one hour before showtime. After that, unsold tickets will be available at the box office for cash only.
Will they make fun of me or make me get on stage?
No. Many shows have audience volunteers but the person must volunteer themselves. Pointing at your friend or family member will not get them on stage.
Is Theatre 99 handicap accessible?
Theatre 99 has an ADA compliant vertical platform lift with a 500 lb. maximum capacity. If someone in your group needs to use the lift: Please have them wait at the door on the north side of the building along the driveway and then have someone in your party notify the box office. One of our staff members will bring them up. Please note: The lift enters into the theatre, so we are unable to use it after the show begins.
Can we eat and drink in the theatre?
Hell yes, but outside food and drink are not allowed. We pride ourselves on being the only live theatre in Charleston with a cup holder at every seat! And lucky for you we offer beer, wine and snacks at our bar available before each show and during intermission. We do not have a kitchen. Cash only, so load up on those $1s and $5s.
