How does Sectional Seating work?

Patrons choose seats on a first come, first served basis within the section purchased. Please note: Cry Havoc Theater Company's ENDLINGS is general admission only.

Does Dallas Children's Theater have school day morning shows?

Yes. Student Matinee performances are held on weekdays. Typically we have matinees on Tuesday through Friday. Schools are booked into these performances and reservations are required. Please refer to our Field Trips web page for more information including student matinee show times.

What is Dallas Children's Theater's policy regarding guns on its property?

In order to ensure a family friendly and safe environment for its patrons and employees, Dallas Children's Theater prohibits the possession or use of dangerous weapons on the Rosewood Center property.

Does my child need experience to take classes?

For most classes your child needs to be the correct age and have an interest in theater and drama. Our approach is developmentally age appropriate. Some Teen Conservatory classes require an audition and are for more experienced students. For more specific answers, simply contact us.

What workshops do you offer?

We offer Teacher Workshops that give teachers tools to use drama in the classroom. We also offer Scout workshops and Drama Shops for school groups to participate in after they see a Dallas Children's Theater show. Our artists also work with local school districts to set up workshops for DI training. Contact Nancy Schaeffer, Education Director for more details or to set up a workshop for your group.
