What are the benefits of massage?
As massage is a great relaxation tool it has lots of other benefits! Massage can benefit managing chronic pain, posture alignment, recovering from surgery, reduce stress both physical and mental, arthritis, migraines, increase mobility, reduce muscular tension and so much more!
Do I have to do any aftercare?
We highly recommend an Epson salt bath after your massage. It is beneficial to help move out toxins and can help with soreness after a deep tissue massage.
How often should I get a massage?
That will depend on your body and needs. If you are in severe pain, multiple sessions in a week could be helpful to create relief and relaxation. For maintenance and general health and wellness we recommend a massage very 2-4 weeks. If you are unsure, ask your therapist!
How does Reiki work?
In a reiki healing session the universal life force energy is channeled through the practitioner to the client. The client can be sitting or lying down in a relaxing setting and receive the ease and comfort reiki can provide. As every session can be a little different, the practitioner will place their hands in various positions on different parts of the body and use intuitions to guide the session.
What is a Reiki sound healing experience?
A reiki sound healing experience is a relaxing and blissful. You can be sitting you lying down during your experience as the reiki master will guide you through a guided meditation and call in reiki. They will then play the soothing crystal sound healing bowls and sometimes chimes and drums. The crystal sound healing downs are all aligned with different chakras that resonated and heal each energy center.
