This restorative class will help to combat the physical and mental effects of everyday stress, and ease common ailments such as headaches, backaches, anxiety, and insomnia with the use of restful poses and deep breathing techniques. During this class we will be relaxing in poses, utilizing various props (blankets, blocks, straps, etc.) so that we are able to remain in the poses without strain or pain. Namasteveryday is very relaxing, slow paced and it is a great class if you are looking to achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation – while enhancing your mood! When you are practicing restorative yoga, you will feel a sense of motionlessness and shapelessness, and this can lead you to feel some emotional discomfort and vulnerability. If this happens, stay with the breath and allow it to pass. Recommended for all levels.
