FAQs
I'm not exactly in the best physical shape I'm a little older I'm in class, Will I have training partners who will be willing to work with me?
Yes. Our student range from 15-40+ and are men and woman of all different shapes, sizes, and levels. You will see that finding someone to train with is comparable is shape, size, and age is not hard at all.
I currently train with a different BJJ Team, can I still train at Nitro BJJ?
Cross training in Jiu Jitsu is extremely important. If you would like to come cross train with us, please have the blessing of your current instructor before coming to our gym to train. The mat fee is $20 for non-team members, but free on Open Mat day as long as you do not have an outstanding balance at the gym you currently attend.
Are private lessons available?
Yes. Many students choose to schedule a private lesson to work on a personalized strength training plan or specific Jiu Jitsu skills. Your instructor can provide you further details based on your needs.
How far away is Nitro BJJ from Putnam County and Fairfield County?
Nitro BJJ is located right off of 684 in Brewster, New York and is 15 minutes away from Brewster, Carmel, Patterson, Pawling, Yorktown, Mt. Kisco, Katonah, Mahopac, Somers, Kent, Southeast, New Fairfield, Danbury, New Milford, Brookfield and, Bethel.
