How much does a membership cost?

Membership rates vary. At Rounders MMA we want to make you a member for life so before signing up we always encourage you to take advantage of our free trial class and let us answer any questions you may have. Rounders club members are loyal and proud to train here - and we want you to join us! Please inquire at the front desk for current membership offers.

Am I going to get hit and will it hurt?

If you want to learn how to strike, you must learn how it feels to be struck. Becoming a fighter means knowing how to take a hit, but don't worry - no one will ever strike you without your consent. Beginner levels with our seasoned instructors consist of hitting pads and bags, at a pace that fits you. Direct strikes come with experience and will not be a part of your initial classes, but you will definitely work up to it.

Can I use the techniques I learn here for self-defense?

Absolutely! Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, and boxing are all effective systems of self-defense. Learn to utilize each one in its own respective, functional way and the confidence you will begin to exude will ensure no one will want to mess with you.

Is MMA, BJJ, and/or Muay Thai for women?

These combat sports may seem intimidating and perhaps even a "boys club" at first glance. But once you check it out, you will see Rounders MMA is a place for everyone! We have many female competitors and athletes who would be happy to help fellow females feel comfortable in the gym.

Am I too small or too large to group train?

No, the styles we teach rely on technique rather than strength. The larger students also know that they are to use technique, rather than their weight and strength. Bullies in the school are dealt with swiftly and that behavior is not tolerated on the mats either. We are here to help each other, not hurt each other!
