Should I roll before or after I work out?
An INSTAROLL session is great before or after a workout or done on its own. A Bounce workout is another powerful tool you can utilize to dramatically increase your lymph flow rate and cleansing action. If you are looking to maximize the benefits for your immune system, we recommend a Roll session pre or post Bounce to maximize your lymphatic drainage results!
Who shouldn't use the INSTAROLLER?
Lymphatic drainage should not be used by people with acute inflammation, malignant tumors, deep vein thrombosis or major heart problems. Because of its effect on the immune system, people with cancer, diabetes, thyroid or kidney problems, asthma or epilepsy should seek medical advice before treatment. You also should not use the Roll machine if you are currently pregnant.
What do I wear and anything else I should know before my INSTAROLL appointment?
We suggest wearing form-fitting clothing that covers most of your body (i.e. leggings and a tight long sleeve shirt are ideal). No bare skin on the infrared Rollers! Wear light colored clothing so that the infrared light can penetrate to skin level. If you have long hair, wear it up to avoid any catching. We require you to wash your hands prior to treatment, and clean socks are required as well. It is important to stay hydrated to allow body to optimally flush out toxins. Be sure to drink water before and after your treatment!
What should I do post sauna session?
Rehydrate with 8 to 24 oz. of water or electrolyte drink to replenish fluids. You may dry off with a provided towel, then cool down naturally or with a shower. You may also schedule your next sauna session!
