FAQs

IS THERE A FREE TRIAL FOR EVERY CLASS?

Yes, there is a 2 day, no-obligation, free trial to any of our class. We want to make sure that this is something you really want to do. All we require is that you read and sign the consent form prior to your trial class. Also, if you intend to borrow a gi you need to notify us in advance so that we have the appropriate size on hand. *MUST BE A LOCAL RESIDENT

Is there a free trial if I'm not a San Jose resident?

If you do not live in the area or are visiting you are not eligible for a free trial. We do have drop in rates though because at the Caio Terra Academy, everyone is always welcome!

Are long term contracts required?

Absolutely not! At the Caio Terra Academy we have month to month memberships that can be cancelled at any time. We ask that you please notify us in writing, either via email or text.

Something happened and I cannot train for 2 months, what do I do?

Life happens and we understand that! That's why at the Caio Terra Academy we allow all of our members, regardless of membership, to place the account on hold. We allow 2 "freezes" a year for up to 2 months each time. Any more will be reviewed on a case by case basis!

What belt are the instructors?

Most instructors are certified Caio Terra Black Belts. On occasion there will be Brown belts leading class but typically there is always a black belt on the mat at all times!
