FAQs

How do you get promoted?

At the Caio Terra Academy we follow the curriculum set forth by Professor Caio Terra. Each belt level has their own requirements which are a combination of time on the mat, understanding of Jiu Jitsu as well as an individuals character.

I signed up but forgot my gi, can I borrow one?

Loaner gis are reserved for trial students only. With that said we do rent out loaners to students who are dropping in or forgot their gi at home. Cost is $10.

Who do I ask if I have questions?

At anytime you have a question or suggestion you can ask the instructor, front desk person, Professor Caio, Nick or Don and we can point you in the right direction. We love feedback from our students and guest and find it invaluable!

Are there uniforms?

The only uniform requirement we have is for our no gi. We require all students who particiate to CTA Rash guards and shorts manufactured by Virus int.

Are classes taught in other languages?

All classes are taught in English. If English isn't your first language we typically have teachers and assistants who speak fluent Portugese and Spanish.
