FAQs
What should my child wear to class?
The suggested class attire for girls is leotard or shorts/t-shirt (shorts no longer than the knee). The suggested attire for boys is shorts/t-shirt (shorts no longer than the knee). Aerial Silks students need to wear pants/leggings with a leotard or t-shirt. Hair must be tied back out of the face of the student and no jewelry should be worn. All students will go in to the gym with no socks/no shoes.
What are some of your safety rules?
Students should plan to arrive 10 minutes prior to class. This should give them ample time to get dressed and report for warm-ups. If a student misses warm-ups, injuries could occur. Students are not permitted on the equipment unless they are with an instructor. Please stay off the equipment and off the gym floor until your class starts. Eating and chewing gum is not allowed in the gym area.
How does student drop off work?
Students MAY NOT be dropped off any earlier than 10 minutes prior to class and picked up no later than 10 minutes after their class. Students are also not permitted to wait outside after class for their ride. Safety is our #1 concern at Maximum Athletics so please emphasize the importance of this rule to your child.
What about siblings?
Siblings are welcome at Maximum Athletics WITH parental supervision. Any siblings under the age of 18 years old MAY NOT be dropped off with a student that has a class. We cannot and are not equipped to supervise siblings of students enrolled in our program.
Can my child receive private lessons?
Private lessons are available for all of our students and are scheduled with the coach. Fees are due prior to the start of the lesson and are paid in the office.
