New classes are now available! Ages 5-6 are invited to join us for Kinder Keys, beginner piano lessons in a fun and engaging group setting! Students will use keyboards, games, and percussion instruments for rhythm, to learn the beginning fundamentals of piano.  Instructors at A Child’s Song primarily draw from the Bernard and Carolyn Shaak Method of piano instruction. Learning to speak and play before reading is the foundation of all languages. The Shaak Piano Method is unique because it first teaches children to play by ear. This gives students the foundational freedom to create music in any environment. At three to six months of training, students move on to additional, progressive method books and classes/ lessons to learn sight-reading and become proficient using sheet music. Tuition is $122 per month and includes all instructional materials. Scholarships are available to clients with any unique need— whether physical, developmental, social, emotional, or financial. Scholarships are given to clients who would benefit from our programs and have a great desire but limited resources to move forward.  Space is limited, so register now!
