A parent or trusted caregiver MUST attend class. There are two main factors that directly correlate to how successful a child's class experience will be: 1. Know the songs ahead of time 2. ADULT PARTICIPATION! We cannot stress enough how essential this is. Tots with Tempo is designed to be a family class. So put down your phone, (okay, definitely take a couple pictures of your little cutie), grab an instrument, and jump right in. Your child is looking to you to model what he/she should be doing. You'll have a lot more fun too if you participate!

Tots with Tempo follows the masking guidelines set forth from the places we rent classroom space. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Our priority and goal is the safety and health of all of our mini music makers. Outdoor classes: Masks are NOT required, but are recommended for close group activities such as parachute, stretchy band, and gathering drums. Indoor classes: Masks are NOT required for any children 5 and under. Masks are highly recommended but NOT required for anyone over 5 years old that has received the COVID vaccine and booster. Masks ARE required for anyone over 5 years old that has NOT received the COVID vaccine and/or booster.

No refunds are given for missed classes. But we are parents, we get it. If you need to miss a class, please let your teacher know as soon as possible. You are welcome to attend another class day/time/location, pending space availability and teacher approval. There is also a make-up class date already built into the schedule the week after the session ends. If you miss any classes during the session you are welcome to attend that class free of charge. It will be on your class's same day/time.

Fall can bring some rainy mornings, so there's a good possibility that one or more of the scheduled outdoor classes will be affected by inclement weather. Depending on class size, we may be able to move class indoors on those days, with a make-up credit provided for those families uncomfortable moving inside. If no indoor space is available, the class will be rescheduled. Your teacher will contact you with the specific details in the event of rain.

We love family and love when grandparents, spouses, aunts and uncles come along to class! There is no limit to how many adults can attend an outdoor class. Since the indoor classes have space limitations, please contact your teacher if you'd like to bring more than one adult to class to ensure that there is space. If there is space, we'd love to have them!
