Before working with her, I felt like I had plateaued, but then Miriam expertly took my position apart and put it together again, for the better.
I’ve never experienced a facility that cares so much for the horse, the student, and the trainer.
Linda Wagner is a master horse woman and has gained the respect of people like me who expect excellence, compassion, wisdom and patience in all aspects of horsemanship.
Her way of seeing and connecting to your horse, not by domination and force but by respect, communication and observation was just what I wanted.
I have found in Linda's program at Wildhorse Mountain a place to learn finer points of horsemanship that I had never found anywhere else.
The property is beautiful, the horses are loved, and we have gained so much more than just learning how to ride.
As we approached the end of our meeting, my husband and kids walked back to the car while I stayed with Linda a little longer as I wanted to share with her that my son was recently diagnosed with ADHD and, I wanted to get her thoughts about how (and if) horse riding lessons could benefit my son.
We have worked with Linda and Kelly and both of them show such knowledge and compassion for horses and people.
I have watched my daughters learn to center themselves in their bodies, understand better their own feelings as well as learn to understand what the horses are feeling, and grow tremendously in their self confidence.
Kelly never pressured him to move faster than he was comfortable and she was able to find an activity each week that respected his comfort level yet at the same time encouraged him to move forward.
