Most importantly, there are dedicated and experienced instructors who are avant-gardes in the the art of Aikido, as well as a plethora of other martial arts.
These masters have been at it for a long time, they do know their arts and are willing to pass it on to new students.
I've been a student at Wasabi Dojo for almost two years now, and I'm amazed at the skill this dojo has to maintain such a relaxed and fun environment, while still keeping students focused on the art.
John Powell is a fantastic instructor, who teaches us how to perfect the art of Aikido, in addition to teaching us the practical "ninja tricks" for someone in a dangerous situation.
