After a poor experience at another ballet school in Vint Hill, my three daughters have absolutely loved VA National Ballet. Instructors require attentiveness, give clear and helpful critiques, and show genuine caring. My teens adore their teachers and feel they've learned a great deal. The environment is completely devoid of favoritism or competition; the school is run on respect and it makes a world of difference. The communication and organization are excellent, and I appreciate that both the Managing and Artistic Directors have a strong background and genuine interest in the arts. Highly recommend this school.

My daughter has been a student at VNB for 8 years and I am always so pleased with their shows and recitals.
VNB has been extremely welcoming to both of us and my daughter is already having her dreams come true as the VNB students get to dance with their performing company in the Nutcracker!
Our daughter started taking ballet and a variety of other classes at VNB when she was four, and in the 8 years since, she has not only matured as a performer, but she has also learned to appreciate dance as an endeavor that requires dedication and discipline, strong fortitude, and a generous amount of grace and humility.

The creative licenses taken make it difficult for kids to follow.
She has since earned her BFA in Performing Arts at Radford University and returned to VNB to perform with their Company and teach for their school.
Each year, I am pleased with how smoothly performances run and am amazed by how much my daughter learns.
