I joined USA Karate as a 14 year old boy. The discipline, character development and focus that I learned in my time training here has been a lifelong gift that only continues to yield dividends. I was born with ADHD and struggled socially and with attention span with all my early schooling. I was told by my peers, teachers and teammates that I would never truly amount to anything because of my concentration and emotional issues. Karate gave me a purpose and a focus that allowed me an outlet to change all that. I have been medication free since 17, graduated college, traveled the world as a musician and linguist, and currently own my own Real Estate brokerage with multiple employees.
