Taekwondo was developed during the 1940s and 1950s by various Korean martial artists combining and incorporating the elements of Karate and Chinese Martial Arts along with the indigenous Korean martial arts traditions of Taekkyeon, Subak, and Gwonbeop.

I have been attending US Academy of Martial Arts in Bristol, CT with Master Lee for 8 years!
Master Lee has so many years experience with teaching Taekwondo and he is an amazing master.
Both of my boys have attended for years.
Master Lee is wonderful with children and provides a great environment for the kids to learn.
The studio just competed in the New York Open Tae Kwon Do Tournament and did very, very well.
