Troy has been a music instructor, performer, and composer for over 28 years. As a professional Classical and Jazz guitarist, Troy is a seasoned performer and guitar instructor. Troy has extensive experience performing at recitals, weddings, private events, fundraisers, and many other venues worldwide. He also teaches private lessons for all levels and styles of music. Troy earned a degree in Music Composition and Performance at the University of Utah. After his degree, he continued to refine his skills under the instruction of respected composer and guitarist Stan Funicelli. With a passion for travel, Troy also studied Classical and Flamenco guitar while living in Jerez, Spain.

I took lessons with him several years ago while I lived in Salt Lake City and still look back on it as one of, if not the highlight of my stay there.
Started knowing nothing about guitars, Troy has been very patient and understanding!
Overall I don't think I could have never imagined that I would be able to progress this much in a year.
