Absolutely joyful end of season dance recital by Sakina Ibrahim's "Dance Arts Academy OC" young students.
My first class was in person, and I was expecting to feel out of place, but I was welcomed with open arms by the instructor, as well as the other students.
The variety of styles is excellent and the instructors are so warm and knowledgeable.
I have also taken Kat's Sip & Stretch and Candlelight Restore classes on Friday evenings and highly recommend those as well; they are very relaxing.
With every up and down in life putting a wedge between me and dance, I experienced feeling very low confidence, stiff, and like I wasn’t a good enough dancer despite my almost 10 years of training.
Past knee and hamstring injuries mean I can’t always move in certain ways but I really appreciate that every teacher has made modifications to their choreography on the spot so I can continue to feel confident in my movements
Ginger and her team are wonderful instructors who create a comfortable environment and put on a fun class!
Let alone say that I have found a safe space to grow and better all aspects of my health!
The staff and students are very friendly and whether it's your first class or you have been dancing for years, it's s a great place to have fun and learn.
Besides great classes, Ginger regularly gives her students the chance to perform, which sets her studio apart from many others.
