
PAINT & PLAY artists created flying doves during PEACEFUL PLACES camp. Painting on paper plates was a good way to practice mindfulness and attention to detail as there were lots of tiny ridges along the edge that didn't always catch the paint, so we had to go back and add paint to those spaces. We also practiced mindfulness with an I-Spy kind of game that used our senses. We looked around the room for 5 things that we could see, 4 things that we could feel, and 3 things that we could hear. . ..
