My 12 year old son has been taking private and semi-private ceramic classes for nearly a year from Noelle and moved quickly from beginners to intermediate ceramic skills. My son is learning from professional artists that challenge him constantly to explore new techniques. He has learned how to work on the wheel, as well as sculpt. Once a month he has an opportunity to dip/glaze his pieces before they go in the kiln. Perhaps more importantly, ceramics is a place where he can let go of any stress or worries and just focus that one hour on creating. I am so grateful to Noelle and her team!

This flourishing studio will always be my first choice in the area.
The classes are kept small so you get more individual attention and guidance and they help you through the process to make sure that not only are we learning techniques but everyone walks away with useful and cute pieces to take home.
My kids have taken art classes at Slowfire for years, and whenever I check in and ask what activities they want to do outside of school, Slowfire is always at the top of the list.
Staff and programs are a neighborhood gem.
The experience of making things on the wheel fills her heart with joy she has improved tremendously in the last couple months, and all thanks to the guidance of all the wonderful teachers!
Always love these candles and so do the friends and family we give to for the holidays.
I am not an experienced artsy gal by any means and Noelle has been so accommodating in setting up private lessons for me (and my husband) to try out the world of ceramics and she did even better by setting many of these privates with Brie who is absolutely the best.
My children drool over the list of classes for older kids and are anxious for each birthday and the new opportunities that come with it.
Their work is beautiful and the staff is so kind.
Loved my pottery class at Slowfire!
