I got hired by Google as a software engineer after attending this bootcamp. Sure, I had to do some extra self-study to pass the interviews, but this school is the reason I was familiar enough with Java fundamentals to even get past the phone screen. Even after six months at the big G, my day-to-day work is still chock full of concepts that I learned at this school. In short, I cannot recommend Skill Distillery highly enough. Their curriculum is highly relevant to the industry. I could not have done it without them.

Sentiment Analysis
Instructors were very knowledgeable, personable, and helpful The curriculum was well structured and thought out, helping those of us who had a slight background as well as those brand new to programming.
Amongst other things I learned, Java, Javascript, and SQL are so in demand on the market right now.
The instructors, teaching assistants, and other staff members I had the honor to learn from, are the most passionate and patient people I’ve ever met.
Each of the instructors demonstrated deep knowledge of the subject matter, be that Java, SQL, Java Script, or Angular.
No matter where you start from (new to the field or with some experience), if you show up daily, engage with the assignments, projects and lectures, and see it through to completion, you end up with foundational skills, an applied body of knowledge, and the confident ability to learn, build and contribute as a modern developer.
I interviewed at Skill Distillery and was pretty shocked at how welcoming and accommodating they were, especially after talking to several other bootcamps and seeing how they operated; I'd assumed I'd just be one number among many many students.
I started as a data analyst with a minimal coding required, now I’m working as a system monitoring engineer with Tencent have multiple interviews line up for technical solution engineer, technical support engineer, all with great pay.
I went in with very little experience but the right mindset, and SD helped me get the rest of the way.
The instructors were very available and very helpful, and consistently provided useful advice and feedback, and the alumni community proved very helpful in tracking down my first position.
I came in with no coding experience, and the course was rigorous, but the instructors are there to help you every step of the way, and their goal is to get every student a great job after graduation.
