Silanoe Martial Arts

There's a lot to learn, but Professor Gino and the people here make it an extremely fun experience.

This review only covers the intermediate/advanced BJJ classes, because I do not go to the fundamental or muay thai classes.

If I still lived in the area I would be honored to choose Silanoe as my “home”…but I’m just as honored to keep dropping in once a year or so.

Being a hobbyist I've never thought I would want to compete in a sport like this, but Gino has help me build the confidence in myself to do something like this.

Whether you're interested in self-defense, traditional forms, or competitive sparring, Silanoe provides comprehensive training that is both challenging and rewarding.

Sparring & rolling can get competitive but they all make sure to take care of their training partner.

During my stay in LA, I had the pleasure of joining classes at Silanoe Martial Arts.

Years ago I turned off from martial arts due to a bad experience but from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the warm atmosphere and supportive community that Gino has created at his gym.

My son has a need to build his confidence, improve his focus, grow his mindset, his mental & physical strength, and wants to learn how to better respect himself and others.

Professor Gino isn't just knowledgeable; he's got a knack for breaking down the complex moves in bjj into something I can actually wrap my head around.
