I’m still giving 3 stars as my daughters have been going here for 5 years but faced this situation for the first time, and the owner may not know about the private message the class mom in question sent!
The school has performed in many venues including Carnegie Hall and in India at the Marghazhi festivals and annual day productions that have included unique aspects like the dance drama (jungle book one year) and a celebration of the five elements of nature.
When learning new dance items, she takes the time to translate the lyrics (from multiple languages, mind you) and provide cultural and historical context - I've basically been given a crash course in Indian history and vedic texts!
Awesome passionate teacher.
