Rocky Mountain Stables Horseback Riding and Sleigh Rides
Travellers, this is a gorgeous trail ride through the Colorado Rockies that everyone in the family can enjoy. Young and older alike. The guides are quite knowledgeable and are terrific handlers of the horses. The horses are great and know their job well. The scenery is breathtaking and I compare it to being in a real “it's a small world. ” The aspen forest is beautiful and shimmery and the Christmas tree forest is so charming they seem fake - which they are not. The most beautiful is a small valley that is right out of the sound of music. The wildflowers were in bloom and it hits all the right notes. We had a large party with young children that were able to do fine and really enjoy the ride. This is definitely worth the experience. Check it out. We recommend.

Our trails very very slick after a rain the night before but no problem for their horses.
We have been on several horseback rides in the past (Padre, Taos, Big Bend) and this by far outshines all of our previous adventures!
Horses knew where they were going and did great on the trail.
We had a couple friends that had no experience riding a horse and Joe ensured that everyone felt comfortable.
We have a member of our family with an intellectual disability, and the guides were gracious and extremely helpful in helping her ride smoothly.
The horses were in great shape and wonderful.
Admittedly I was a bit nervous but they made the ride easy and enjoyable and gave me a sweet horse; miss kitty and my gf got dumbo which she enjoyed.
I can't wait to go back and do it again
The scenery was so beautiful and the trail was great for people that aren’t experienced but even if we were it would still be enjoyable !!
Everyone had wonderful time, even those who had ridden only a few times before and those who were more advanced.
