Owners and Directors, Maria Tyukova and Alexei Tyukov, opened Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy in the summer of 2017 after Alexei retired as Principal Dancer of Colorado Ballet and Maria closed a previous studio where she was awarded the 2017 Outstanding Teacher Award through Youth America Grand Prix. Serving the greater Denver area of Colorado, RMBA provides exceptional ballet training, as well as classes with top-industry teachers in modern, jazz, tap, character, conditioning, boys ballet and Russian language.

I have grown tremendously as a dancer in the year I have trained at Rocky Mountain Ballet Academy.
Most importantly, the small-class instruction is highly professional, well rounded and rigorous - I am confident that my son is getting the training he needs for a successful career in ballet.
Their training and past professional careers have provided many opportunities for our daughter that we never imagined possible (including learning Russian during the year and training in Russia during the summer).
Her instructors are encouraging, professional, and extremely knowledgeable.
